Editorial Policy

1. ABOUT THIS PUBLICATION
YourPhotoStock is an online marketplace for royalty-free stock photos and videos. This blog is published by the YourPhotoStock editorial team to help photographers, designers, marketers, and content creators make better visual decisions — from licensing and pricing guides to photography techniques, industry news, and creative trends.
The blog is produced by the YourPhotoStock Editorial team, the same business that operates the marketplace. We write for people who create and license visual content, and we aim to be a practical, trustworthy source of information about the stock photography and videography industry.
2. EDITORIAL STANDARDS
Our content follows these standards on every article we publish:
- Accuracy. We fact-check claims about pricing, licensing, tools, and industry practices before publication, and we correct errors promptly when they are reported.
- Honest headlines. Titles accurately reflect the content of the article. We do not use clickbait or misleading headlines.
- Original writing. All articles are written in-house for YourPhotoStock. We do not republish, scrape, or spin content from other sources, and we credit sources when we reference external facts or data.
- No paid placement. We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or favorably review any product, service, or asset in our editorial content. Editorial decisions are made independently by our team.
- Useful, reader-first content. We write to answer real questions and help readers complete real tasks, not to chase traffic for its own sake.
3. AI DISCLOSURE
Some cover images are generated with AI tools and are labeled with the credit "Image generated with AI".
We are transparent about the use of AI in our visuals. When an article's cover or supporting imagery is created with AI, the credit is shown directly with the image. Product images, screenshots, and assets from the YourPhotoStock library are used as-is and are not altered to misrepresent their source.
4. CORRECTIONS
We are committed to maintaining the accuracy of our content. If you believe an article contains a factual error, an outdated detail, or a misattributed source, please contact us so we can review and correct it promptly.
For corrections, please email support@yourphotostock.com or open a support request through your account Dashboard. Please include the article URL and a brief description of the issue. Substantive corrections are applied as soon as possible and noted in the article when appropriate.
5. SOURCES AND LINKS
Whenever we reference external facts, statistics, tools, or research, we link to the original source so readers can verify the information themselves. Where we make recommendations, we clearly distinguish between our own opinion and verifiable fact. If a source changes or becomes unavailable, we update or remove the reference accordingly.
